Help us support the most vulnerable children in Yorkshire

Yorkshire Children’s Trust

Yorkshire Children’s Trust was founded by two sets of parents after their daughters were diagnosed with Leukaemia. The charity helps children and their families cope with the emotional and financial strain of many life-changing illnesses, something the founders of the charity understand after dealing with their own children going through the long and harsh treatments for cancer.

This Yorkshire children’s charity doesn’t receive any Lottery, NHS or Government Funding and relies heavily on voluntary donations and 100% of every donation will be used to support local children, so please dig deep and help support some of the most needy and vulnerable children in the region.

With your help

We will make the lives of local children better, and reduce the impact on the families that care for them. Remember, every donation, no matter how big or small will help support our work in the community.

A truly local Yorkshire children’s charity based in Halifax and supporting children across the Yorkshire region and beyond that have cancer, leukaemia and other illnesses.

From inception it was decided that Yorkshire Children’s Trust would not just  be a cancer charity, but a charity designed from the ground up to provide help and support to children who fall through traditional funding gaps of support through the NHS, local authorities and other charitable organisations.

Yorkshire Children’s Trust look at children that need support as individuals and will help to support their long term illness or disability, be it a physical or mental impairment.

The team liaise with parents, medical professional, teachers, social workers and key workers to ensure the best possible outcomes with a range of support options targeted at their needs.

Our current support themes include counselling & play therapies, respite breaks at our holiday homes in Skegness and Hospital Stay Grants.
